St. John's Episcopal Church is a small and loving congregation in the beautiful Ozark Mountains. We exist to be a safe, honest, and healing Christian community where people can encounter God without fear, grow in wisdom and compassion, and learn to live with courage, grace, and responsibility. This is the lens through which we strive to make decisions regarding our ministries and our use of time, money, and energy.
We are following Jesus into a loving, liberating, and life-giving relationship with God, with one another, and with creation.

Our Priest
The Rev. Greg Hoover became our priest and pastor in 2014. He has four wonderful children. Before becoming a priest, Father Greg worked professionally as a writer, actor, corporate trainer, and a mental health professional. Father Greg's love for God and God's people combined with his unique talents, brings depth and clarity to his priestly calling and ministry to St. John's. Email Father Greg |
